El Questro was once a cattle station now sold and run as a tourist destination. Think the Gibb River Road from the highway to the turnoff to here will be all tar soon!
Plenty to do at El Questro and gorges to discover, although this one, Chamberlain Gorge, is one you need to go on a boat tour to see properly.
Arriving late we just caught the sunset here and left next morning checking out Zebedee Springs, hot springs in rocky pools amongst pandanus and tall palms.
Had trekked to Emma Gorge 2 yrs ago, on another part of El Questro, so continued down the Gibb River Road to Ellenbrae Station.
