Wyndham - top of WA

Wyndham at the top of WA, first gazetted as a town in 1886.

The cattle industry, mining, gold, explorers, indigenous peoples and Wyndham meat works all played their part in the history of Wyndham.

Today it is a small frontier town, basic supplies, no meat works now in operation at all.

Great views of the town, Cambridge Gulf and the Kimberley coastline from this lookout.

Five Rivers Lookout, 330 metres above sea level and on a clear day you can see the 5 rivers that flow into the Cambridge Gulf - King, Ord, Durack, Forrest and Pentacost.
